TikTok is expanding its commitment to user well-being by launching new initiatives aimed at providing reliable mental health information and support. The platform is introducing in-app guided meditation exercises for all users, with a default setting for teens after 10 PM to encourage winding down for sleep. This follows successful tests and aligns with research on meditation’s benefits for sleep quality.

Additionally, TikTok is significantly expanding its Mental Health Education Fund for 2025 with a new $2.3 million donation in ad credits to 31 mental health organizations across 22 countries. This funding, combined with training, aims to empower these organizations to create more impactful mental health content globally. The initiative builds on the success of the 2023 Fund, which generated significant engagement and support for mental health causes worldwide.
